In these images, taken in Northern India (Delhi, Kashmir and Ladakh), pictures of workers are juxtaposed with local found texts – plaques describing the rich Mughal history, graffitied pavilions and tombs, and Buddhist prayer stones.

historytree1_folio_smHistory trees The History trees series combines portraits of aged eucalypts with vintage book pages representing historical interpretations of Australia and its culture.  Shown at Gaffa Gallery for Head On Festival 2012. 


“Too much ask …” In these works contemporary photographs, from trips to the Murray River, are overlaid with text from the journals of early explorers such as Charles Sturt and Thomas Mitchell. Shown at Hazelhurst Gallery, Gymea, 2011.
